Rhetorical Moves of Introduction Sections in English Linguistics Research Articles From Two Non-Scopus and Two Scopus Journals

As the leading section in a research article (RA), introduction typically leaves lasting impression on reader. It is thus necessary to make well-crafted and organized writing of successful RAs. However, lack studies has paid attention rhetorical moves non-Scopus Scopus RA introductions linguistics area. Therefore, present study first investigated realization essentiality steps from both corpora, then it delved into relationships distributions these two sources. A total 100 English were selected this study. The corpus each included 50 taken journals. Based adapted Swales’ (1990) Create-A-Research-Space (CARS) model Rasmeenin’s (2006) rationale, analysis identification was conducted. findings revealed that Move 3 Step 5 novel step used corpora. Besides, though there no statistically significant rate between divergence did exist categorization 1, 3, 1 2 1B 1A. results highlight convention common journals prestigious journals, providing template for writers constructing crafted getting them published
